Our aim is simple; to advocate for the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises that make up the bulk of our organisation, so that they can flourish and grow.

Advocating for Fairer Industry Regulations
Many of the laws that govern the industry are out of date, or miss the nuanced distinction between large multi-national manufacturing and the challenges faced by small businesses.
Our job is to advocate for these laws to be adapted and brought into line with the reality of the challenges faced by start-ups.
Industry Representation & Partnership
Strengthening Independent Breweries Through Representation
As part of this mission, we have an independent voice, but stand alongside larger beer manufacturers as full members of BASA (Beer Association of South Africa), to strengthen our members’ voices where they need to be amplified.
Government & Sustainable Industry Development
Building a Sustainable Future for Craft Brewing
We endeavour to work with government departments such as tourism, agriculture and treasury to develop a positive environment for craft breweries to operate in, that is both sustainable and responsible.
