Noon Gun Brewery is based in Muizenberg, Cape Town (SA). Customer support and a pro-active culture is extremely important to us as a team, and we expect future Noon Gun employees to accept this emphasis             .        Position: Sales Representative / Brand Ambassador

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12

• A tertiary qualification will be an advantage

• Fluency in English (more languages will be an added advantage)

• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; etc.)

• Digitally literate (smart phones, tablets, social media)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills

• A high level of attention to detail

• The ability to work within a team • Results orientated, pro-active and deadline driven

• The ability to operate under pressure

• Strong co-ordination, organisational and planning skills

• Strong quality and client service orientation

• Valid Code 08 Drivers’ licence with own vehicle

• Brand and marketing knowledge/experience

Job Overview

A Noon Gun Brewery Sales Rep/Brand Ambassador is expected to:

  •  Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets to meet targets.,
  •  Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising and marketing techniques, etc.,
  •  Resolve customer complaints by: - investigating problems - developing solutions - preparing reports - making recommendations to management
  • Be responsible for implementing marketing and promotional activities in-store and on-con,
  • Establish excellent client and consumer relationships as a Brand Ambassador,
  •  Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and using initiatives.

For the above expectations to be met, the following skills are essential:

• Extensive knowledge of the beer and or liquor industry

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales (especially relevant to the liquor industry)

• Highly motivated and responsible, with the ability to work with minimum supervision

• Must be highly motivated with a passion for the liquor/beer industry

To qualify as a successful candidate, you must be detailed in all aspects of your work and supply us with updated contactable references from previous positions held.

Being a small team, we require a fair amount of availability during the week.

Candidates should be willing to work extended hours and during weekends on occasion.
